Polyurethane Foam (PUF) Panel
PUF panel is strong, tough, aesthetic and yet lightweight having long life. PUF paneling has become immensely popular and substitute’s
conventional materials like M.S., wood these panels are ready to assemble for prefab shelters and building and are available in different sizes
and thickness suitable for prefab structures.
Specification of PUF panel
1. Walls Panels
Room wall will be of Polyurethane Insulated 63 mm thick panels of PUF Density 40 ± 2Kg/m3. The individual panels will be firmly locked together
by Cam locks. The material will be 0.5mm thick PCGI sheet both side.
2. Roofing Panels
The roofing panels will be of Polyurethane Insulated 60:40 mm thick panels of PUF Density 40 ± 2Kg/m3. The material will be 0.5mm thick PCGI HI
Rib Profile sheet on Top and 0.5mm thick plain PCGI sheet on the other side with PUF in between the sheet.
3. Door
Made out of 63 mm thick PUF insulated panels cladded with 0.5 mm thick PCGI sheet on both side complete with all accessories like locks and
hinges.
4. Window
Aluminum powder coated fixed/ sliding window will be provided.
5. Ventilators
The Openings at the site for the ventilators will be provided as directed.
6. Roof
The roof will be frame of trusses, purlins and columns; fixed using suitable fasteners like J – hooks with bitumen washers, nuts bolts etc.
7. Truss
The trusses shall be made using suitable size hollow steel tube / rolled section. The trusses are provided at a suitable distance and shall be
supported on truss columns made using rectangular hollow steel sections, fixed with each using MS end plates & suitable nut / bolts at top
level. The purlins shall be made using suitable size hollow steel tube provided on the trusses at a max. pitch of 1.8 mtr. or less and are fixed
and flushed with top level of trusses with the help of MS end plates & nut & bolt.
